What games can I play with street chalk?
There are many different chalk games that your children can play outside with the chalk. Often they invent something themselves or organize a painting competition. But you can also simply show them the following games.
Heaven and Hell
Street Chalk Game: Heaven and HellThis game is available in different variants. It is suitable for children from the age of four and can even be played alone. To do this, you have to draw the following boxes with chalk on the street. In addition, you need a stone that you have to throw into the boxes (and hit them). And in turn from 1 to 9.
The child starts on the field EARTH and throws the stone in field 1. It jumps into the field without touching a line on one leg, picks up the stone, throws it into the next field, jumps behind and so on. In fields 4, 5, 7 and 8 you can jump with both legs. If you touch a line, you have to start all over again.
Attention: There are different models of these boxes. Some also include the double jumps at 2/3 as well as 5/6 and 8/9. You can arrange the boxes the way you would like them to be. In heaven you rest briefly, skip hell and then you go back on the same path.
Hinkepott
Street Chalk Game: HinkepottFor this game, you also have to draw boxes numbered with the street chalk on the street.
The principle is the same as heaven and hell. A stone is thrown on the field with the 1, then the first child jumps off, but has to skip the field with the 1 and directly into field 2. The stone remains in field 1.
Then it bounces on to the 7, where both legs may be parked briefly. Then it goes backwards on one leg again from the 7 to the 2. Then the stone from field 1 is picked up and the child jumps out of the playing field.
In the next round, the stone must be thrown into field 2, at the following in field 3 and so on. Anyone who does not hit when throwing, touches a line when jumping or puts both legs in a forbidden field, is eliminated.
Body contours
For less sporty, but more creative children, this game is suitable, which can be played from the age of 2 years. A child lies down and another time the body contours with the street chalk on the street. Then the children take turns. Afterwards, each child is allowed to color the contours of the other and give him clothes and a funny face or a cap or the like.
Road course
This game even trains road safety. Here, the children can draw a course of street, roundabout, parking lot, pedestrian crossing or the like with the street chalk and then playfully ride the drawn route with their tricycles or scooters.
Long throw or street dart

Each circle gets a score of 20, 30, 40 and 50 points from the outside to the inside (for the middle). Afterwards, the children take turns throwing (each with only three stones) at the target and can collect points with it. Whoever scores the most points in the end is the winner.
