SimpliSafe devices are much cheaper than Nest devices. The $259 base package, which includes three touch sensors, a motion sensor, a keyboard and a base station, is closest to the $399 standalone Nest Secure product. These include Nest Guard (keyboard, hub, motion detector combination, Google Assistant smart speaker), 2 Nest Detects (door/window sensor and motion sensor), and 2 Nest Tags (arming system). Alternatively a keychain that can be disable by tapping Nest Guard.
SimpliSafe also offers three different system packages, ranging from $229 to $489. You can also set up your own system. SimpliSafe has glass break, smoke, water/spill and temperature sensors, an additional 105 dB siren and panic button, but NestSecure doesn’t. There are also two cameras: an indoor camera and a doorbell camera. Nest Secure offered Nest Protect smoke detectors and many advanced security cameras, but it doesn’t integrate directly with Nest Secure or its dedicated surveillance features, but you can control them all from the same app.
SimpliSafe offers a compatible smart door lock that turns the security system on and off (Nest Secure is provided). The Nest x Yale Smart Lock is a complete bolt replacement lock for $249. SimpliSafe is an aftermarket device for $99 that goes beyond traditional locks. SimpliSafe works on its own wireless network and does not use your home WiFi network.
SimpliSafe and Nest: Supervision
SimpliSafe has two monitoring options: no contract and monthly. The Standard plan costs $14.99 and the Interactive plan costs $24.99. This allows you to turn the system on and off from your smartphone for integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. .. Nest secure vs simplisafe also has a third option where you can self-monitor using a smartphone app and get 30 days of cloud video storage for $10/month. Without a plan, the application cannot be used and the system only works as a local alarm system (controlled by keyboard).
Nest Secure works with no monthly fees and can be monitored directly using the free Nest app. If you need a professional audit, it’s $29/mo for a monthly contract or $19/mo for a 3-year contract. This includes backups over cellular networks. This service is provided by Brinks Home Security.
The $24.99/month SimpliSafe plan includes professional camera surveillance and cloud video storage, while the Nest Secure for cameras plan, called Nest Aware, starts at $6/mo. SimpliSafe cameras also allow surveillance services to provide video and visual verification to emergency services, whereas NestSecure cameras do not.
Advantages and Disadvantages of NestSecure

- Door/window sensors and keypads act as motion sensors, reducing the number of parts.
Cons: Cons:

- Separate support channels for Nest Secure, Nest Aware, and Brinks
Nest Secure is a high-end, high-end home security system with advanced hardware. Its biggest advantage is its simplicity, requiring only a few devices to power off the house and providing an easy way to disarm and disarm the system. However, this would have been too simplistic as it lacked features such as a panic button, surveillance fire protection, and flood and leak protection. From cameras and door locks to smart displays and voice assistants, Google Home has run on smart home devices, but integration has been surprisingly limited.
Solution
SimpliSafe is a more comprehensive home security system that provides video verification and fire monitoring that Nest does not. SimpliSafe offers a wide range of security equipment with options to adapt to your home. SimpliSafe is cheaper than NestSecure, but its features are not fully functional. Nest Secure provided the best cameras, smoke detectors and door locks. The Nest system also includes remote arm/wake integration with Google Assistant smart home devices without the need for a monitoring plan.
