MLF is a Type of premium matting and has no joints in between. It is custom matting and is moulded for a particular model. It won’t suit another car.
9D matting
9D matting has started attracting customers be it SUV owners or hatchback owners. You can get two variants of 9D matting. One is PU leather which is cheaper and another one is NAPA leather which is costlier.
You don’t need to buy separate mats for these matting. It protects your car completely but still, floor mats are included with 9D mattings and so, you can use them. The 9D mattings are waterproof.
You can get PU leather 9D mattings for about rs 2800 with mats included. For NAPA leather 9D matting, you need to spend 3500 rs. NAPA leather is better in terms of durability. PU Leather will start surface peeling over time but NAPA Leather won’t degrade so fast.

Undoubtedly the biggest advantage of flooring the entire car is it makes cleaning super easy. With waterproof flooring, you do not need to worry about coffee or coke spills and can just wipe the flooring with a wet cloth.

Protects the metal frame
Most probably you haven’t seen any car with an exposed floor which is made of metal. Anyway, that is because the company provides some kind of basic flooring. But these floorings are basic and are not of much use. These won’t stop water etc spills from getting into the metal frame.
When water, dust, dirt and sand get to the metal frame or chassis, with time it will start corroding. You may not be able to see it but it will happen. The corroded part becomes weak and brittle. It may just crack from that place.
Chassis being the main framework can be repaired and not easily replaced. So, you will be left with a damaged car if you ignore car flooring.

Another benefit you will get is, that the transfer of heat from the floor will be less. For example, in the summer, less heat will get in from the floor as the flooring and matting will stop it.
Also, if you are using the AC of the car, the cold temperature won’t escape from the floor much. This will act as a kind of insulation. Even road sound will seem less audible.
